About the Team.

The Irvine-Thomas Family have lived in Macclesfield for over 50 years. We’re seasoned locals with a passion for lending a hand to the community where we can. The family have managed farm land in the Adelaide Hills and Fleurieu Peninsula, and worked with a number of industry-leaders to provide the best care and maintenance practices for your farm.

We are a dynamic ensemble whose various trades, backgrounds and skillsets complement the business. What sets us apart is that we employ this dynamic in our quest to service your property. We strive to bring integrity, care and positivity to your business. Whether it be a hobby-holding or commercial-sized venture, you can rely on the Irvine-Thomas family to be there for you.

David is a qualified viticulturalist with years of experience in the game, as well as a lifetime of experience in and around the Adelaide Hills. He has a robust knowledge of the seasons, and his proficiency is something that can benefit you, your vines and your livestock production endeavours.

Tammy is a qualified remedial massage therapist who grew up on the land, and who brings to our clientele a strong knowledge in best business management practices. She is not averse to hand-rearing orphaned lambs, and has helped influence our livestock nursing applications.

Brad has graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Journalism & Professional Writing from the University of South Australia. His knowledge of corporate, consumer and competition law brings a modernity and adaptability to the business. Brad manages all client accounts, and is your first port of call wherever you have any trouble.

Lachlan has graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Animal Science) from the University of Adelaide, and is well-placed to provide modern and best-practice pastoral and livestock health advice. He is an animal lover, and he focusses his attention to detail on your livestock and their needs. With years of guidance under his father’s wing, Lachlan is a young, enthusiastic worker with quite the wealth of knowledge on property management and best farming practices.

Put us all together; we are Hills & Rural Farm Services.
